From Panels to Pipe – From Pipe to Indoor!

We certainly have come from small beginnings in the process of managing an arena! Our adventure started out in Washington state with a paneled arena and a Priefert chute. Later, we added lights, which enabled us to host events that carried on into the evening. The team roping and barrel races were filled with a quaint group of people, as well as the outdoor Bible studies and horsemanship/roping clinics.

As we continued to make a living with horses, it became apparent that we needed to move back to “green country”, which for us equated to “horse country”…Oklahoma!  We had lived here before and always knew that when the time was right we’d move back. In 2016, the Lord swiftly moved us across country to a lovely property in Cushing, OK with the perfect setup to begin hosting team roping. We graduated from the paneled arena to a well built pipe/cable arena with lights and a handy announcers booth! For two summers we enjoyed building relationships with cowboys and cowgirls there.

Without having any set plans, we always dreamed of owning an indoor arena. Travis and I envisioned our family merging our livelihood with ministry in a facility that would reach out to the community and beyond. Little did we know that just around the corner, in January, 2018 our dream would become a reality! This insulated indoor facility is perfect for what we feel our hearts and lives have been prepared for and we are excited to experience its growth each step of the way.
